Explanation of terms:
​
Guests: This means you as a guest in one of our holiday homes
We: This means we, the company Home@Crete (see also imprint)
Holiday accommodation: This means any holiday accommodation, whether it is a guest room, a house, a villa, a hotel room or a mobile home and the like.

Booking/Booking confirmation:
​
A booking request can be made by the potential guest via the email address homeatcrete@outlook.com. We assume no liability for the correctness of the free days in the calendar. After receipt of the request, it is checked promptly whether the period requested by the guest is actually still available. If the period is still available, the guest will receive a binding booking confirmation from us to his email address.

Terms of payment:
​
In the booking confirmation, the guest will find the account details to which he/she can transfer the amount specified in the booking confirmation. The specified amount must be transferred to the specified account within 7 days. Only then is the booking final. If the amount is not transferred within 7 days, the booked period will be released again in the calendar.
​
Arrival and departure, during the stay:
​
Check-in on the day of arrival is possible from 4 p.m.
Check-out on the day of departure must be done by 12.00 noon.
​
Final cleaning: A final cleaning will be carried out on the day of departure, which will be charged in addition to the booking price. Prices vary per holiday accommodation. The final cleaning can either be settled with the transfer or paid in cash on the day before departure.

An intermediate cleaning can be requested by the guest, which is also charged extra. Prices vary per holiday accommodation.

Holiday accommodation:
​
The holiday accommodations are equipped differently. The exact features can be found in the individual descriptions. Normally, all holiday accommodations are non-smoking accommodations. It is imperative that this is adhered to. Pets are also generally not allowed. All items of daily use in the holiday accommodation must be treated in such a way that they can continue to be used after your stay. Children and people who cannot swim must be supervised at the pools.
It is imperative that you adhere to the specified maximum number of people that can be accommodated in a holiday home. The exact number of people can be found in the description of the respective holiday accommodation.

In the event of infringement, we and the owners of the holiday accommodation reserve the right to terminate your stay in the holiday accommodation with one day's notice, without refunding the price already paid for the holiday accommodation.
For damage to the house or objects in the house caused by guests, the guests must pay. Either by an adequate replacement or by settling the bill.

Travel cancellations:

A cancellation is possible in principle, but subject to conditions.
A cancellation can only be made in writing by email.
​
In the event of cancellation, we reserve the following deadlines and refunds of the price:
​
More than eight weeks/56 days before the start of the stay: free of charge / full refund
From 8 weeks/55 days before the start of the stay: 20% of the rental price / 80% refund
From 4 weeks/21 days before the start of the stay: 50% of the rental price / 50% refund
Up to 2 weeks/14 days before the start of the stay: 80% of the rental price / 20% refund
Up to 1 week/7 days before the start of the stay: 100% of the rental price / no refund

If a new guest is found for the entire canceled period, the price paid will be fully refunded. We will notify the guest who canceled a stay.
